Really looking forward to the end result! After video shoots in LA, Berlin, New York, Italy, and Switzerland, now we’ve shot a video in Japan, which is just a blessing! Much love to the supporters who push us to continue and have been giving us all the motivation we need on this great musical journey. Bounty leads ‘Swiss Phone’ rhythm (click to view full article)
By Curtis Campbell, April 19, 2016
Switzerland-based producer Swissivory has released his new rhythm compilation called ‘Swiss Phone’. The rhythm is led by legendary dancehall artiste Bounty Killer and has been getting strong attention in Africa, United States and Switzerland.
The project has already seen success internationally with Bounty Killer’s Like A Phone, which has received more than a million views on worldstarhiphop.com.
“Bounty Killer’s single is the first that was released from the project and it racked up millions of views. We also filmed a video for the Bounty song and we plan on doing additional videos for the other songs on the rhythm as time progresses,” Swissivory said.
Swissivory has worked with several hip-hop artistes in the past, but now he is making his debut on the reggae/dancehall side of the industry with the Swiss Phone rhythm. However, he says working with Jamaican acts has been a good venture.
“Reggae and dancehall are quite popular where I am from. Even though they are not as mainstream as other genres on all platforms, they both have the potential to break barriers,” he said.
Also featured on the Swiss Phone rhythm are G Mac, Beenie Man, Jami Dread, Melloquence and others. The Swiss Phone rhythm is currently being distributed by Vpal/VP Records.
